Qwydion in pre-op and getting ready to take a ride in the wagon to the operating room. Qwydions surgery was at 7:30 am. His surgery took the longest at 1 hour 45 minutes. (the surgery only takes 45 minutes, but they had to give him a different anestheia, so it took alittle longer).

Andrew said that Rhuivnyin in the recovery room kept choking on the blood she was supposed to be coughing out. She ended up swallowing some blood and threw-up alot of black blood. She kept throwing-up until 1:00 pm. This picture is Rhuivnyin is back in her room with her breathing tube and bloodsucker. This was the one time she was able to sleep because she stopped throwing-up.

Andrew and I were in the recovery room with Qwydion and when we got in there he was sitting up with his eyes closed (he wasn't awake) coughing up blood. He also had a really bad bloody nose. Qwydion had the nurses and andrew and I nervous until about 1:00 pm. Because while in recovery his oxygen would go down to 60%. It is supposed to be at 93%. His lungs were having a hard time recovering from the anestheia. It was really scary. This picture is qwydion back in the room with his breathing tube. The nurses couldn't hide the fear in there eyes either. He was watched very close until we were released from the hospital.

I made them special hats while we were there. We were released from teh hospital at 2:00 pm. So the day at the hospital was a total of 8 hours.

So we had no power for awhile and so for our christmas pictures I had to use flash and just point the camera, I couldn't see what I was shooting. I got some cute shots though. It finally got light enough so we could actually see what we were doing, and good thing to because our little candles were running out.

So I went from having reading glasses, to them not helping at all, to having to wear glasses all the time. It is an adjustment because I am not used to having them, but I have to say that it is nice to be able to see. My eye doctor was amazed that I could function without glasses. I told him you get used to not being able to see. Without my glasses he said I couldn't even read the 2nd line on the eye chart, but with glasses I can read the 30 line.

New Car

So, as some of you know are car has been having alot of problems so we had it towed to Twin Falls. Our service guy said after looking at the car and fixing the same problem yet again, said that his advice would be to get rid of the car as soon as possible and said that he didn't think it would make it back to Hailey, so we HAD to get a new car. We were pretty upset about having to buy a car. So we looked at a few used cars and this one worked out for us. I hate it, but I hated EVERY car that we looked at, because I wanted my car. It actually is a very nice car. It is a 2002 Mazda Protege, not a family car :(, but it will do. It only has 52,000 miles on it and it is in perfect condition. As you can see by the outside it is ugly, but on the inside it is really nice and it fits all of us (and the kids even have room). The black bra on the front of the car has to be taken off ( I want it off!!) and the racing stripes on the sides are going to be taken off. But other then that it is fine. We actually own the car outright which is nice.

It is raised off her head 1 inch ( we measured). She was wearing andrews flip flops around the house and fell and hit her head on the edge of the dining chair. And yesterday she fell off the porch steps and cut her head open. That has healed very nicely. You can barely see it. She is our little accident prone child.

I received a phone call today from Stephanie Rees (Jennifer Phillips manager). And she told me that they narrowed the field from 200 applicants to 75 applicants and that I was one of the 75 people who are in the audition to sing and record Jenny Phillips music. She is the lady who writes alot of the Young women and church programs. I just got finished doing "Light Keepers" for our ward young womens. I have to go to Utah on May 30th to audition. My business had really taken off. I have sold 21 items now, and it doesn't show signs of stopping. I love it but my hand is killing me. I have made over $100.00. I am so excited.

I am feeling alittle better now. My jaw still really hurts and my neck has some bruising still. The left side of my mouth feels great and the right side is hurting so bad.

Well, friday I got my wisdom teeth out. It sucked. I am swollen and bruised and of course sore. That is the only bad thing.

Sorry I haven't been on in a month. We have been very busy with school and sickness. I was making breakfast 2 weeks ago when I drank something cold and my mouth had the biggest pain in it, so I went to the bathroom to check my teeth. What I found was my wisdom tooth broke in half. Well I found out that when I am concentrating on something and when I sleep that I clench my teeth together, so the pressure from that and the fact that my wisdom tooth is on my jaw it broke. So that day I had to muster up the courage to go to the dentist (what choice did I have) and because of my gag reflex he sent me to an oral surgeon. Well, I made the appt. with the surgeon for just 4 days later. So for the next 3 days I was dealing with all 3 kids throwing up, andrew comes home early from work and immediately starts throwing up too. That next morning I also joined in. (Fun week we had). So I had to reschedule my appt. I had my appt. this last Friday and it sucked. I gagged of course. We talked about the procedure and I found out that he will put me to sleep so that it will go more smoothly because of the gag reflex. Well, I made my appt. for this coming Friday and I am terrified!!

On a lighter note. We spent the afternoon together out riding our bikes and we decided that we were going to go to Kings to pick up a planter box for our lettuce we are growing. When we walked in there were SO many people, we couldn't figure out what was going on, so we went along with our shopping. Then over the PA a lady says "okay our last drawing for the easter season is happening find a number and stand on it", so andrew takes the kids and finds a number and I went along with my shopping. I went to the back of the store to look at stuff and I see 2 numbers 27 and 28. I figured what the heck and stood on 27, just a second later I look at the 28 and decide to stand on that one instead. About 30 seconds later she calls "28". I was so excited. I won a $20 gift certificate which we ended up using on the planter box, soil and yarn. I had a great day.
